Which means that sometime in the next week our website, blog, and e-mail accounts will not work.  We will have to set up everything on the new web hosting site.

I was able to get some shelves for the toys, a set of 4 cubbies for the kids stuff, another high chair, and lots of things for them to play with. The new routine worked every other day.  Tuesday and Thursday Garret was still up numerous times, but on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday he slept all night.  Starting on Saturday he started waking up more again.  This week has not been as bad as two weeks ago, but he is getting up a few times a night again.

As soon as I pressed publish last night, Garret started making noises and I eventually had to get him out of his crib.  I wrapped him back up and then picked him up.  He was falling back asleep as soon as I picked him up, so I held him until he fell back asleep.  With the night starting off that wasy I did not have high hopes. Here are a few things that I think might be causing some of his sleep problems.

1.       He wants someone with him.  Solution-I put a mirror that hangs at a slant so he can see himself and he thinks that another baby is with him.

2.       He does not like to be in the dark. We do not feel that she is getting what she needs from her teacher or the school in general.  She has regressed with many things over the school year and it is very frustrating for both of us as her parents.  

A new charter school is opening up about 7 1/2 miles from our house. I'm not sure he enjoyed it as much as she did. I have a few other pictures where Garret has an Ariel crown on his head, but Kris said they are NOT allowed to be posted on the blog. I let these two take bath together.   Kayleigh LOVED the fact that Garret was big enough to take a bath with her.  Garret seemed to enjoy it as well.  He loved the fact that he had toys to play with and didn't pay any attention to the water or to Kayleigh. Today before I gave the kids a bath she jumped off our bed and went to hide under it.  I guess she thought that we could not see her since she had her head under the bed.  I thought it was cute.

Kayleigh and I are both recovering from sinus infections and Garret is recovering from an ear infection.  Both of the kids went to the doctor last Friday and have been on antibiotics since then.  A few days before that Garret started waking up around 5am and would not go back to sleep until I nursed him. Kris left in during the snowstorm on Saturday morning and the snow still hasn’t gone away!

I woke up Wednesday morning to 5” of snow covering the driveway.  I got to shoveling to get it clear before the parents started showing up.

We have a huge snow storm in the area right now, so it wasn't an easy drive for him.  He had to put his tire chains on for a few minutes yesterday, then a snow plow came by, so he had to pull over again and take his chains off.  He was on the road for over 11 hours yesterday and he drove about 1 1/2 hours this morning.
