Kris is in Qatar

Kris has made it safely to Qatar. He will be there for about 2 days before he continues onto Iraq. The kids and I are adjusting and trying to find our new normal.

Kayleigh has started her count down on her calendar. She is counting down 200 days until Daddy’s gets home. We do not think it will be 200 days, but it is much better for Kris to come home early than late. He will be gone for 4-6 months. We are planning on at least 5 months, but coming home early is always a good thing. 200 days is 6 ½ months. Kayleigh starts selling Girl Scout cookies for the first time tomorrow, so she is very excited about that. Our troop is also going to take donations and send cookies to Kris’ squadron in Iraq.
