Emotions

There are lots of emotions going on in our house right now. Kris will leaving in a few hours and going to bed is very hard for Kayleigh tonight. So far we are almost at the 2 hours mark. No fun in our house. How do you explain to a 6 year old why Daddy’s work says he has to go away. It will be about 24 hours before Kris will arrive in Qatar and we do not know how long he will be in Qatar before he goes to Iraq. From what other people have said it will be 1-3 days.


But the good news for all of you that read our blog Is that regular updates will begin again. I will have to update for Kris so that he can see pictures and videos of the kids.


I might update again in a few hours when I wake up to tell Kris good bye. It depends on if I can go back to sleep or not. I hope I can because I need more than 3 hours of sleep to function, especially since I am still going to be open for childcare tomorrow.
