Sleep much?
Well I haven’t been.
Kayleigh and I are both recovering from sinus infections and Garret is recovering from an ear infection. Both of the kids went to the doctor last Friday and have been on antibiotics since then. A few days before that Garret started waking up around 5am and would not go back to sleep until I nursed him. Well after a day or two of that he started waking up around 1-2am and I had to nurse him then as well to get him back to sleep. Well it has become a nightly adventure around here now to wake up numerous times between 1am and 6am. Not fun for me since I am the only adult in the house and the only one that produces milk! :) Since Kris is not home I have been leaving Garret in the bed with me after he wakes up the first time, so it is much easier for me to get him back to sleep.
I thought once his antibiotic kicked in he would go back to sleeping better, but it hasn’t happened yet. I think the antibiotic has upset his stomach and given him a lot of gas, but he only seems to have it during the night.

Poor baby. I hope he feels better soon. I'm sure his incredible cuteness helps the sleep deprivation! :)
