We had originally thought my parents would be coming for Christmas, then the price of tickets jumped a few hundred dollars overnight, so that didn't work out. Then we invited The Wellman family and numerous things came up at the last minute, so that didn't work out either, so it was just our family of four for Christmas and it was actually really nice. We had tons of fun just being able to spend time together playing and watching our new movies.
This is what greeted us in the living room on Christmas morning. There was suppose to be a Pink Harley Davidson Power Wheels motorcycle for Kayleigh from Santa, but we had two right handlebars instead of a right and a left, so it was not able to be put together. Garret also had a Tonka scoot and scoop ride on toy, but we didn't want to have his set up and not hers, so his got wraped with his other presents.
The movie Underdog was in her stocking from Santa. When this movie was in the movie theater and advertised on TV, Kayleigh insisted that it was Bella in the movie not another dog. As excited as she was to get the movie she did not like it at all. She got to watch it Thursday with another little boy that is a month older than her and neither one of them liked it at all. So, if you haven't bought it for your kids don't waste your money. New earrings from Santa!
Crissy enjoying what was in her stocking from Santa. Yeah, Operation from Santa. It is great that Kayleigh is now starting to enjoy games Kris and I played as kids. She got Operation, Don't Spill the Beans, and Don't Break the Ice from Santa this year.
Clothes for Baby Alive from Santa. Kayleigh was clueless that they said Baby Alive on them, she was just excited to get new baby doll clothes. Thank you Aunt Jenny and Uncle Blake, I love my huge Corduroy book! Now Mommy just has to find a place to put it so it won't get messed up!
Thank you Nana and Grandpa for my new toys! Garret, I think it will taste better outside of the box and wrapper.
Yeah, Santa brought us a new coffee maker! The wrapping paper and bows were some of Garret's favorite items of the day!
Thanks Grandma for my Little Mommy doll! I named her Celia.
Thanks, Grama, Poppy, and Uncle JT for our ice skating Peanuts gang! Thanks, Grama, Poppy, and Uncle JT, I love all my new pigs!
Thanks, Grama, Poppy, and Uncle JT, I love my new talking puppy!
Yummy, new food for me! This boy LOVES to eat.
Such a cute Christmas present for Mommy.
Kayleigh opening her Baby Alive from Nana and Grandpa. They had sent it back at the beginning of November, but I just wraped it on Christmas Eve and put it by the tree. Kayleigh immediately said "that is Baby Alive". I am really glad I waited until then to let her see the package. She was chatting on the computer with my parents when she opened it. Which is why she keeps looking down.
Garret opening a present from Santa with Kayleigh's help.
Thanks for loading all the pics and clips. looks like Santa was good to everyone in Utah and the kids had lots of fun. Can't believe how big Garret is getting! These will be great pics to look at in years to come and remember great Christmas's of their childhood. Love to all, Aunt Lu
